Choose what you notice. These are the issues covered by your appliance guide.
Check that doors close and ventilation openings are clear.
Close the door, clear blocked vents and avoid exceeding the freezing capacity. Press alarm/lock to silence the signal; the freezer displays the warmest recorded temperature for 10 seconds. Initial startup and large fresh loads can trigger the alarm. The alarm clears when the set temperature is reached.
If the reading remains far from the setting, switch the appliance off for 5 minutes, then restart.
If too warm, wait a few hours and check again; if too cold, check again the next day.
If the fault remains, contact customer service.
Check the tap, water supply, freezer temperature and [IWD off].
Ensure the tap is open and [IWD off] is not framed. Ice production and refilling an emptied container can each take about 24 hours. Have a plumber check low pressure or an interrupted water supply.
Look inside the removable ice container without reaching into the dispenser.
Water left standing can taste stale.
Discard about 15 glasses of stale water. After extended non-use flush for several minutes; replace the water filter if unpleasant taste or smell persists.
Humming, gurgling, clicks, water valves and falling ice can be normal.
Check that bottles are not touching and removable containers sit correctly. If the appliance wobbles or touches adjacent furniture, have its installation checked.
